Justin Rose began his study of stone sculpture in 1989 as an apprentice of the late sculptor Paul Aschenbach. He participated in the Third International Sculpture Symposium in Burlington, Vermont (1990) and has taught and exhibited at The Carving Studio in Rutland, Vermont. Justin organized two seasons of public stone carving on the Burlington Waterfront in 1992 and 1993 and has received Vermont Arts Council grants as well as Burlington City Arts C.A.P.S. grants. His sculpture can be found on the Burlington Waterfront, University of Vermont campus, in area shops and restaurants, and in private collections throughout the country. Recently, Justin was commissioned to contribute a permanent installation for ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont.
